Four Months Old and Family Halloween Party

Coop loves his bath time!!! He use to get so upset when I took him out, because he HATES being cold so now I set up a heater right on his bouncer and towel so it's nice and toasty when he gets out; and instead of wisking him away to his changing table in his room I let him hang out in the bathroom for a while. This has become our new routine, and Cooper just loves it and I get the added bonus of getting ready while he sits in front of the heater.

We had such a nice October this year, no snow, which is pretty unusual for us so we took full advantage. I took a hike up Gibson Jack with Sheridan (Marcus' dog,) and put Coop in my ErgoBaby. Coopy slept almost the entire time, Sheridan ran her legs off, and I thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous leaves and changing colors!

Cooper got to meet my girlfriend, Candice, while her and her hubby were in town visiting...Candice is also Maddux's cousin, so our little guys got to hang out, aren't they adorable?!?!

Cooper is 4 months now and I can hardly believe it!!! His 4 month check up was rough, the nurse wasn't very gentle when she administered his shots, and Coop screamed louder than I have ever heard him cry. He weighed 15 pounds 11 ounces, 67th percentile, he was I cuddled him a ton, he was super tired the first day, so I let him sleep as much as he wanted, and the next two to three days were horrible!! He had a fever for the next few days, his leg was sore, he was so sad, and on top of that he's starting to show signs of teething. Needless to say, Ry and I took some long drives that weekend, it was the only way to get him calm enough to sleep. It seriously breaks my heart when he hurts like that, I think that has been our most challenging week so far.

And he's got his Daddy wrapped around his finger, they are buddies already, I love seeing Coop's face light up with his little grin everytime Ry gets home, it's so sweet!

We had our annual Halloween party at my parents' house (usually it's on fast Sunday, but this year we had to move it down in the month). My cousins, Abby the pirate, Liz the witch, and Thomas as Optimus Prime; children after my own heart!
