13 Months Old!!!

My poor little nugget was not feeling well on his 13 month birthday, hence the sick, sad eyes.
13 Month facts:
  • You have 8 teeth
  • You have started to sleep until 7:00AM, instead of 5:30AM, thank you thank you!
  • You mimick everything you hear, in fact, you have some of your books memorized. (Mr. Brown Can Moo, you start saying "boom boom boom" the page before we get to that one and you know most of the pages of "Moo, Baa, LaLaLa" you hand me this book and say "lalala")
  • You have started to shake your head "no" when you don't want to do something or don't like something (ie. getting out of the bath, getting out of the driver's seat of the car, going to people you don't know well, eating certain foods, the list goes on my little man, but you sure are dang cute!)
  • You love dumping your toys out, or really anything in a container you love to dump.
  • You are super close to walking, and I know you could do it if you would just not think so hard about it. There have been a few times you have walked from one thing to another without even realizing it. But it seems like as soon as you realize you are walking on your own you sit down and start your bum walk.

Bearlake Family Vaca

We went to Bearlake for a little family vacation the beginning of July with my family. Here are the boys taking a pre-vacation nap...
On the way to Bearlake!!! We brought coop plenty of snacks, books and toys so he would be entertained the entire ride and he did so good.
Once we were all unpacked and settled in our condo we had navajo tacos, (we never have a food shortage on when we go on vacation with my family, I'm pretty sure we all gained ten pounds from all of the delicious meals and snacks!)
After dinner we got ready and the boys stayed at the condo and hung out together while the girls all went to the Pickleville playhouse to see "the hanging of el bandito" which was absolutely hilarious!! We were laughing the entire time!!
The main character looked exactly like our Dad's bestfriend, Kirby, so we had to get a picture to show him.
We did lots of boating this trip, the weather could not have been more perfect and the water was amazing as well! My mom holding our sleeping little bug, the rock of the boat always lulls him right to sleep.
Ry loving to have a break from work and just enjoy himself!
As I went through my camera there were no less than 150 pictures like this one, my Dad was in charge and went snap happy.
Cutest little flagger i've ever seen, he's so obsessed with holding the flag.
My cute boys chilling on the lake together.
The boys and the mischevious smiles as they push the girls out on the tube...
We finally talked my Mom into riding the tube with us "if Ry would drive not try to flip us off". It was a blast and I'm pretty sure she was glad she went, she screamed most of the time, but definitely had fun.
Snuggling my sweet baby nugget...
The water was so nice we parked the boat out in the middle and swam for a while while my dad threw in a few lines. He didn't catch anything but really wanted to use the fish finder, boys and their toys. Cooper loved the water, he kicked and splashed around and would try to take a mouth full of water every once in a while. I was trying to teach him to blow out of his mouth rather than licking and drinking the water, that was a fail.
Grampie and Coop hanging out on the back of the boat.
More swimming...
Mareesa and I decided we should try to stand on the tube and have a contest who could stay up the longest, we made it until my Dad started to whip us around.
Coop floating on the tube for the first time, he just wanted to climb all over it.
Ry and his little co-captain.
Sisters! It was SO hot this day.
Dad's double duty; weiging the tube down and getting some sun.
Coop got sick our last day there, it was SO awful. He was up all night with a fever and just wanted to be cuddled so Ry and I stayed up all night with him in our bed. Thankfully it was only a twenty four hour sick because it just broke my heart to have him sick, look at his sad little face.
When we stayed at our Dad's friends' cabin when we were little our tradition was to always take pictures on the deck before we left, LOVE my family so much!

Independence Day!!!

We had a fabulous Fourth! We started the day out with some boating out at American Falls with Ry's family and the Walls.
Coop happy as can be, notice, no life jacket yet, hence the happiness.
Trying to coax him into letting us put his life jacket on...
It was quite the battle, as usual, but once we got going he was out.
Ry and Justin blowing up the tube...
Sisters!!!
Coop enoying some lunch with his sand, I think he ate half the beach. He didn't mind the sand mixed with his watermelon or anything else. He even tried a few handfuls of sand by themselves...delicious, right? He is definitely one-hundred percent boy though, he absolutely loves to get dirty.
Madd and Coopy staying out of the hot sun... After a long morning at the resevoir Coop fell asleep and then we all got cleaned up and ready to go up to Wood's for our annual fourth BBQ.
Coop playing with the tether ball, honestly this child will scope out any ball with in a mile and play with it.
Coopy swing with great-cousin Abby.
Andrea, Gma, Marcus and Gpa...
Mom, Dad and Uncle Adam...
Dad teaching Cooper about croquet...
Concentrating so hard...
Love this face!!!
We didn't get to do our own fireworks this year because of the firework ban from the Charlotte fire so we just went up to the fairgrounds for "the biggest show in Idaho'. Coop was trying so hard to stay awake for the fireworks, or rather we were trying so hard to keep him awake...
waiting, waiting...
SOOOOO tired mom!
We all enjoyed the show and
Cooper man slept right through the entire thing, just like last year!! Maybe he'll make it next year to see some fireworks. Happy Fourth of July, let freedom RING!!!

One Year Pics and Love Letters

My little Angel Bug,

Happy birthday Cooper doll, my big one year old!!! I cannot believe a year has gone by since the first time I got to see you as the doctor laid you on my chest. I fell in love with you even before then but it was intensified the instant I got to hold and snuggle you. Although I haven’t forgot the rough pregnancy it was worth every day of throwing up, every day of bad skin, the huge expansion of my nose, and all the other things that went along with being pregnant, it was one hundred percent worth it to have you in my life. You have been such a sweet baby from the day you got here. You truly have the best personality, you are so calm, happy and lovey. I didn’t know I could love so hard and so much you have brought an enormous amount of joy to my life! This past year has been the greatest of my life!!! I couldn’t choose a better job than being your Momma, it really does bring me more joy than I ever would have imagined. I hope that you always keep your sweet spirit with you and remember how much your Dad and I love you and never forget it. You are so smart and you’ve learned so much so fast; I hope you continue your thirst for knowledge and need to satisfy your curiosity, even if it does keep me up later cleaning up after youJ . You always have an inquisitive look in your eyes and are constantly trying to figure out how things work and I just love that about you. You love people and are always smiling and making silly faces at people. People who don’t even know you come up to me and tell me what a sweet, good baby you are. I think you have spoiled me with how good you are, I just pray that your brothers or sisters will be as good as you. Thank you for being such a wonderful little boy, I love you more than you will every know, I pray everyday that I can be the best Momma possible. Happy birthday beautiful boy!!

Love,
Momma
