I love when Halloween falls on the weekend, it means more days that i can celebrate!
HALLOWEEN PARTAY
My mom got called as the new Young Women's President just in time for her favorite holiday, so you can guess that she went all out! She planned the best Halloween party for the primary kids, young men and young women, and i know all the adults that came had a blast as well. There were stations set up for decorating the kids Halloween bags, decorating sugar cookies, fish pond, doughnut bob, cupcake walk, and...
...my dad made an awesome spook alley. He had three different rooms; the first had a table that my dad made with a hole in it so a kid could pop his head through, it looked like he was floating, and tables with scary masks. The second room is the one above, my dad made a coffin and we wrapped one of the boys up as a mummy. The last room had a mini bed with two "dead kids" and strobe lights, it looked like a scene from Psycho. The kids had so much fun!
Once all the little ones left I taught THRILLER to all the Young Men and Young Women (and some of the adults), they had a great time and so did I!!!
THRILLER!!!Every year at the end of October my favorite teacher, Jen, teaches Thriller at the gym. On the last day she teaches everyone dresses up and we go all out!
The whole class, don't they look fabulous!?
WORKThis is me at work on Friday, my costume wasn't really appropriate for work so what could be better than ratty purple and black hair with black lipstick?
SPINE IDAHO HALLOWEEN PARTYRy dressed up as a plastic surgeon and i was his patient, we got lots of laughs.
These our friends that i work with from left to right: Ry and I (pt and dr), Patti and Jared (witch and "horny little devil", Danson and Zach (Pam and Jim from the office), Nat and Justin (witchy and angel), Charish and Clayton (cop and robber). Everyone looked great!
After the Spine Idaho party we headed out to my parents to see them before they headed out to their Halloween party. I helped my mom find this AMAZING dress at the Halloween Bootique and she totally rocked it! Her dress had spider web lace and a sparkly spider in the middle and my dad was her pet spider.
Don't they look great!? They won best costume, of course:-)
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!Ry and i didn't feel like getting decked out again on Halloween, but i couldn't resist finding something Halloweeny to wear. I covered my face in diamond dust, so it sparkled in the light (just like a vampire) and then put those obnoxious teeth in, they didn't last long... i got very annoyed with them very quickly. We had seven trick-or-treaters this year:-) My cousins came to our house in an ambulance, my uncle was all bloody and my aunt was dressed like a doctor. It was hilarious!
Thomas, Lizzy, and Marcus Wood in the back of the old ambulance.
I can't wait until next Halloween, I loaded up on costumes at the Bootique sale and i'm super excited to use them next year. I am now in the Christmas mode, taking down my Halloween decor and listening to Christmas music!
